The Oratory School Society Annual General Meeting and
Dinner
Held at St Stephen’s Club, 34 Queen Anne’s Gate, London on Friday, 22nd September 2006.
This was our third Dinner at the St.Stephen’s Club, and we were again looked after very well.
As to the AGM itself, there was a goodly attendance of all vintages. We had as our
guest the Head Master, Clive Dytor. Many questions were asked and, hopefully,
satisfactorily answered.
Fifty members sat down to Dinner, which comprised three courses, namely loin of
venison with pommes chateau and baby Savoy cabbage, upside down apple tart
with vanilla ice cream and finished with Welsh rarebit. The meal was accompanied
by appropriate wines and port.
I should like to thank St.Stephen’s Club for allowing us to hold our AGM and
Dinner there; to the chef for producing a super meal and to the waiting staff who
looked after us extremely proficiently and in a friendly manner.
